When an Azure environment is expanded one project at a time, it eventually becomes hard to keep track of permissions, networks and costs. A landing zone planned from the start gives the environment a clear structure, so new systems can be added without things getting messy.

Four layers

How the platform is built

We adapt each environment to your requirements and the systems you already have, and follow Microsoft’s Cloud Adoption Framework.

    Identity and governance

    We set up Entra ID, management groups and policies so it is clear who is responsible for what. Users and services only get the permissions they need.

  2. 02

    Networking and security

    The network is built on the hub-and-spoke model. No services are exposed to the internet unless you have explicitly chosen it.

  3. 03

    Automation

    The infrastructure is written as code in Bicep or Terraform and deployed through Azure DevOps or GitHub. All changes are reviewed before they are applied, and the environment can be rebuilt when needed.

  4. 04

    Operations and management

    Monitoring, alerts, backup and cost tracking are included from the start. After delivery, Excelery can run the environment, or your own team takes over with the help of the documentation.

AI with full control

The platform is prepared for AI services from the start. That lets you test new ideas quickly while keeping control of security and costs.

  • Governed data access

    AI services and agents use their own identities and only get access to the data sources they need.

  • Cost tracking

    We set up budgets, alerts and quotas per team and service before usage grows.

  • The same rules for AI

    AI solutions are covered by the same policies and the same monitoring as the rest of the environment.

How it works

From first meeting to a finished environment

  1. Workshop

    We go through your goals, existing environments and requirements together with your teams and decide what to prioritise.

  2. Design

    We prepare a high-level design and document the technical decisions. The design is agreed with you before we start building.

  3. Implementation

    The environment is built as code in your own source control system and deployed in stages.

  4. Management

    Excelery can take care of operations. You can also take over yourselves, with documentation, training and support included.
